How does it work?
Open the app and simply text your question or issue. A board-certified physician will text you back within 90 seconds on average – from there you can choose to connect via text in the app, or switch to a phone call or even video chat.
They’ll listen, evaluate, diagnose and advise on the right care and treatment. Depending on the issue, they can also help you:
+ Schedule an appointment with your primary care physician
+ Make an appointment at an urgent care center near you
+ Send a prescription to your local pharmacy**
+ Connect you to a behavioral health or woman’s health specialist

Act on emergencies, immediately!
If you or a family member have a real medical emergency, go to the Emergency Room or call 911. Examples of an emergency include chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness down one side of your body, blackouts, a bad injury or wound, a medical condition that’s quickly getting worse.
*Members with a High Deductible Health Plan or qualified Health Savings Account plan will pay $45 for 7 days unlimited access. Afer their deductible has been met, there will be no cost.
**Prescriptions and follow up appointments will be billed according to your health plan's benefits.
***DispatchHealth delivers convenient, high-qualit acute care services to your home through a care team that includes nurse practitioners, physician assistants, with an on-call board-certified ER physician always available by phone.
